What is WHAMA?

Washington Healthcare Access Management Association is a professional association committed to promoting excellence in the management of patient access services in healthcare delivery. The association provides timely, accessible and meaningful educative and interactive opportunities in a dynamic environment.

Resurrected in 2004, the initial goal of WHAMA was to build a strong membership base of patient access professionals throughout the state.  The benefits gained from involvement in a professional association of peers who ‘speak your language’ and learning from each other as new initiatives impacting patient access are implemented are immeasurable.
